The Dream, Build, Achieve Award for November was awarded to Dorothy White in recognition of her dedication to the students, staff and families at Thorp School. We appreciate the critical role Nurse Dorothy has played in keeping everyone healthy this school year. Her strong communication skills and excellent medical competency along with a deep sense of compassion for students has led to her success at Thorp. She is very welcoming to all students and has shown kindness and empathy for students as well as staff. We also appreciate her involvement in organizing student medications and planning for students to have necessary medications on field trips, at sporting events and more. As a small school district, we are grateful for her readiness to handle a wide range of health issues and the ability to adjust to a constantly changing environment. We appreciate Nurse Dorothy for all the ways she has made a difference at Thorp School.

Make some time to go to Gallery One and see many of our student artists being featured 🤩
You will find several fourth grade Yayoi Kusama inspired pumpkins, and some 4th and 5th grade OP art. There is also some first grade watercolor resist and one high school digital drawing that got colored over with professional markers.
Let us know if you make it over!
