How long have you been working at Thorp?
This is my second year teaching at Thorp, but my 9th year teaching.

What did you want to be when you were younger?
A teacher!

What is your favorite thing about teaching?
Getting to work with the kids every day, it’s always changing and it never gets old.

If you weren’t teaching now, what would you be doing?
I would love to own a bakery—I make up recipes a lot in my spare time.

What is your favorite sport?
To participate in: Distance running. To watch: Football.

The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane, by Kate Dicamillo

If you won the lottery, what would be the first thing you’d do or get?
I would plan a trip around the world and donate the rest to a charity of some sort that benefits women and children.

If you could take a trip anywhere, where would you go?
Okinawa, Japan

Do you speak any other languages?
Survival-level French, German, and Spanish, but none of them very well.
