2011-2012 LEADERSHIP GOALS
2011-12 ASB Annual Goals
Goal #1: Improve Organization and Record Keeping
- Required student council notebooks
- Independent treasures records for checks and balances with Katie Burr
- Weekly meetings of the student council
- Emphasis on class meetings and accurate minute taking
- Clarifying procedures for purchasing, reconciliation, and fundraising activities
- Approved finances to send ASB director to WASBO ASB conference
- Utilize school website to better inform the public
- (planning) Developing a yearly calendar for staff and students
Goal #2: Improve School Spirit
- Designed and ordered affordable “Tiger Power” spirit shirts
- Spirit couch with pizza for home sports contests
- Homecoming Spirit week and activities
- Monday morning assemblies and spirit competitions
- Winter Spirit week activities
- Bumperstickers
- (planning) Tiger paw prints that lead to the school
Goal #3: Increase Staff Recognition and Community Involvement
- Community Carnival and Haunted House
- Monthly staff breakfast sponsored by the HS ASB
- Staff Encouragement Cards
- Get to Know Your Staff Wall- info highlighting a special staff member
- (planning) Pass the Pride Plaque- staff recognizes other staff
- (planning) community baskets and food bank
Goal #4: Improve Student Recognition
- Student of the Month awards and display case
- Monday Assemblies
- Recognize activities, clubs, and sports
- R.O.A.R. drawings during assemblies
- R.O.A.R. Store for students to redeem their cards for prizes
- Spirit Couch to recognize good sportsmanship
